Nova Scotia has participated in many historical events here is the history  of Nova Scotia. Nova Scotia was one of the four - founding provinces of the Canadian Confederation in 1867. In the early eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, the warfare highly influenced the Mi'kmaq, who had lived in Nova Scotia for centuries. When the French arrived in 1604, and because of that over the next 150 years, the Mi'kmaq, and the Acadians were the main population. Throughout time periods, nine battles broke out. These battles were between the English, Scottish, and French over who was going to get the colony. These battles also happened at Port Royal, St. John, Cape Sable Island, and Baleine. With the beginning war being King Williams war, there were six wars. These wars were
King Williams War (1689-1697)
                                                        Queen Annes War (1702-1713)
                                                         Dummer's War (1722-1725)
                                                         King Georges War(1744-1748)
                                                        Father Le Loutre's War(1749-1755)
                                                         French and Indian war (1754-1763)
    The American Revolution had a huge impact on Nova Scotia. Throughout the  wars, American privateers jeopardized the maritime economy by raiding the coastal communities. Nova Scotia was pronounced a province in Canada in 1867. There are no historical events on Nova Scotia's money.
